IMPORTANT MESSAGE! 11-11-2024
First of all, Happy Veteran's Day! Thank you to all who have served and are currently serving in the Armed Forces.
I wanted to update parents on what's going on in my classroom. We are currently in Chapter 3 and learning slope and slope-intercept form. The students are really struggling to grasp these concepts, so it's taking us longer to complete each lesson. My lesson plans are subject to change daily based on overall success with each lesson. So far, we've spent two weeks on two lessons. I highly encourage your student to attend after-school tutoring for extra help if necessary. I am also available during 1st hour for student-athletes who are behind or need extra help. This chapter is ESSENTIAL for your student's success next year in Algebra 1. As always, I am here to help support you in any way I can.
I highly recommend the YouTube channel YayMath if after-school tutoring is not an option for you. As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
