Farm to School...Sequoyah Raised
Sequoyah's Child Nutrition Program utilized ODAFF's (Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry) Local Food for Schools grant to buy a locally raised steer from Sequoyah High Schoool FFA student Tumbleweed Swisher. After months of dedicated work raising the steer as part of his FFA show projects, it was sold to our Child Nutrition Program and processed at Dorsey Processing (Pryor). The beef will be . . .

Construction Career Day
A group of Jr. & Sr's attended Construction Career Day at Claremore Expo. It introduced the students to the residential construction industry in order to promote a skilled workforce for the future. Students were able to meet industry professionals and experience hands-on demonstrations.
