Two tardies = one day of detention.
Three tardies = two days of detention.
Four tardies = one Saturday school.
Five tardies = two Saturday schools.
Six tardies = one day suspension.
2. Based on the SPS Student Handbook, all cell phones, smart watches, and air buds are to be turned off and locked in lockers at the beginning of the school day. If a student is caught with a phone in class, at lunch, or in the restroom, they will receive a phone violation based on the handbook, with consequences determined by administration.

4. Students are expected to treat themselves and others with respect, at all times.

Required Class Material - Daily:

Notebook Paper
-
Pencil
-
Eraser
*If students report to class without the required materials, they will be sent to their locker to retrieve the items and they will be counted tardy. (no exceptions)
Assignments:
Students will be provided class time to complete daily assignments. In the event that we have a take home assignment, students are expected to turn in the assignment by the end of the class period the next day. Any assignment not completed by the end of the class will be counted as a zero until completed and turned in for partial credit.
Late Assignments:
I will accept assignments one day late, for a 40% deduction. If the assignment is not turned in by the one day late deadline, it will be an automatic zero without the option of completing it.
Grading Scale:
A: 90-100%
B: 80-89%
C: 70-79%
D: 60-69%
F: 59% or below
Absences:
It is the student’s responsibility to request and collect assignments that will be or were missed due to an absence. The student will receive the same number of days he/she was absent to make up work that was missed during an absence. Assignments, deadlines, and tests that were announced or received prior to the date(s) the student was absent will be due upon the student’s return to school.
