Greetings,
Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving break... When we return to school on Monday, December 2, we will have three short weeks until the end of the semester. During that time, we will have the following schedule. (details listed in the weekly calendar link on my homepage)
In our 7th and 8th grade Career Connections classes, we will be learning about the careers listed below. We will have presentations from the NE Tech Pryor Camus programs, as well as guest speakers from each industry listed. We will also have our Career Connections Expo final project which includes individual job boards and presentations from each student. Parents, you should have received an email and paper invitation for the event scheduled for Tuesday, December 17. We hope to see you there!

In our High School Career Connections classes, we will have the industry guest speakers listed below. This will be a great opportunity for the students to meet and learn about three graduates of SHS who are now successful in their careers. We will learn about their educational paths, as well as their career paths and their current career. We will complete mock interviews with career professionals from our community during the final two weeks of the semester. This will be a valuable opportunity for our students to receive feedback from the professionals, that will prepare and equip them with the skills and tools needed to land the career of their dreams.
