Leading the Way With Career Connections
Sequoyah Public School is leading the way in Northeast Oklahoma with its new and innovative Career Connections courses at the Middle School and High School.

Claremore Economic Development is proud to partner with Sequoyah Public School of Claremore and Northeast Tech to present Sequoyah Career Connections, a program designed to expose students to a diverse range of career opportunities and help them make informed decisions about their future.
Now in its second semester, the program continues to connect students with industry leaders. We were honored to welcome representatives from Baker Hughes, who provided valuable insights into careers in manufacturing;
- Syed Hasan - Sr. Human Resources Manager
- Matthew Babbitt - Sr. Manufacturing Plant Leader
- Korena Fcklin - Human Resources Business Partner
- Marco Guerra - Artificial Lift Manager
We appreciate Baker Hughes for investing in our students and helping build a workforce for the future.
