Career Connections Wins International Award
The Sequoyah Career Connection Program, a partnership between Claremore Economic Development, Sequoyah Public School of Claremore School-Sponsored Page and Northeast Tech, has been named a 2025 International Economic Development Council Excellence in Economic Development Award Winner.
This innovative elective course introduces students, from 7th grade through high school, to more than 12 industries, ranging from manufacturing and agriculture to health sciences and engineering. It’s a powerful example of Oklahoma’s ICAP in action, helping students gain the confidence, skills and career awareness needed for the future.
