Welcome to 8th Grade Science and Physical Science!

First off, I'm super excited to be part of the Eagle family! My family and I are ALL IN for your student and look forward to great year. 

8th Grade Science is a Modge Podge of quirky science nooks and crannies and we hope to find the adventure in all of it. We begin with a review of hands on lab protocols, metric review and problem solving. Around week 4 we dive right into the good stuff with force and motion, shift gears to some chemistry, detour down the road of planetary science, pit stop with some genetics, speed through some waves, and finish up the year with some heredity & adaptations. 

I'm a hands on type of teacher and we have a lot of "productive" noise in our classroom. I love to preach science and I'm sorry if I get too excited and my "nerd" comes out. I don't think I can be cool and nerdy at the same time. To be honest, I'm making a transition from strict digital learning to more hands on and I'm loving every minute of it, but please be patient with me.

Thank you for being so welcoming and allowing me to be your child's teacher. I'm so tickled, honored and blessed to be here and can't wait to see what your student can achieve.
